Callum Wilson insists he will play again this season after getting on his bike in a bid to boost his fitness.
Newcastle's £20million striker has been sidelined since the end of December with a torn calf muscle.
It was feared the England forward would not figure again in the Geordies' fight for Premier League survival, but he is confident he will be back to play some part in the final weeks of the campaign after returning to non-contact training.
Wilson has sped up his rehabilitation by taking to two wheels alongside Toon team-mate Matt Ritchie.
