A Raheem Sterling double for 10-man Chelsea was enough to see off Leicester City as the Blues heaped more pressure on Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers.
Conor Gallagher saw red for two bookable offences in an uneventful first half, but Sterling's first goals for the West London club put Thomas Tuchel's men in control of the game.
The Foxes got back into the game through Harvey Barnes' 66th minute goal, but Chelsea clung on for all three points to get back to winning ways following last weekend's defeat to Leeds.
