Aston Villa maintain their record of scoring in every one of Unai Emery's 20 Premier League games in charge.
Fulham had a warning seconds before with John McGinn's excellent inswinging corner from the right flank causing problems. He gets another chance and this time Tyrone Mings meets it at the near post to glance a header into the net.
Villa lead and heading fifth as it stands.
