Nantes president Waldemar Kita has ruled out the possibility of Sergio Conceicao replacing Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City.
The 42-year-old was only appointed boss of Nantes in December, but he has already stabilised the club and guided them to 12th in Ligue 1.
That has led to Conceicao reportedly being placed on Leicester's managerial shortlist as they search for a replacement for Ranieri.
However, Nantes president, Kita, has now ruled out any chance of his coach jumping ship to move to the King Power.
"That he's been contacted means that he's good," Kita told L'Equipe.
