Manchester City's thrilling 5-3 victory against Monaco contributed to a new first leg goals record in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Teams found the back of the net a total of 34 times across eight games, smashing the previous record of 26 goals which was set back in 2014.
In fact, the record had already been beaten before Wednesday night's games as clubs threw caution to the wind in the hunt for goals.
As well as City's superb comeback win at the Etihad, this season's last 16 first legs saw Bayern Munich thrash Arsenal 5-1 and Atletico Madrid earn an impressive 4-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.
