Leicester thrown lifeline with Atletico Madrid set for unfamiliar weapon in Champions League showdown

Atletico Madrid will come under fire from a Leicester City 'weapon' they will be unfamiliar with in their Champions League quarter-final second leg on Tuesday night.

The Premier League champions will try out another option from their armoury, perfected at Crystal Palace on Saturday — the long throw.

Christian Fuchs hurled the ball in for Robert Huth's opener at Selhurst Park and, while he may move to centre back as an emergency option, there are plans for a similar set-up against Atletico.
