Leicester have signed Fousseni Diabate for £4.4million from French Ligue 2 side Gazelec Ajaccio.
The 22-year-old forward has agreed to join the Foxes on a four-and-a-half-year deal and will become Claude Puel's second signing this month after the announcement of Adrien Silva.
Diabate, who plays as a striker but is equally adept on either wing, has scored three goals in 20 games in all competitions this term.
Born in France, but a Mali international at youth level, Diabate has been the subject of interest among many clubs across Europe but has decided to join the former Premier League champions.
