Leicester City turn down second bid from Sunderland for unsettled striker Leonardo Ulloa

Leicester have turned down Sunderland’s bid worth up to £7million for Leonardo Ulloa, with Claudio Ranieri once again insisting the striker is set to stay at the King Power Stadium.

A bid for Ulloa from Galatasaray, understood to be on loan, has also been rejected by Leicester, who are adamant offers below £10m will not be countenanced.

Ranieri admitted Ulloa was ‘not happy’ at the situation given the 30-year-old wants to leave to increase his playing time, but the Italian repeated his stance that only if Leicester sign a replacement would an approach be accepted.

Leicester are also highly reluctant to sell Ulloa to a relegation rival such as Sunderland, who failed a few days ago with an initial £3m bid.
