Former Leicester City captain Matt Elliott says the club will be making the right call by keeping Craig Shakespeare as manager for the remainder of the season.
It is expected to be confirmed later this week that Shakespeare, placed in caretaker charge following Claudio Ranieri’s sacking, will remain in the job until the summer.
The Foxes have claimed back-to-back wins under the 53-year-old to climb away from the Premier League relegation zone, and Elliott sees no need to bring in a permanent replacement for Ranieri right now.
