Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater to miss final three Premier League games with thigh injury

Danny Drinkwater has been ruled out for the rest of the season and is a doubt for England in June after suffering a thigh strain.

Foxes manager Craig Shakespeare revealed the midfielder has picked up a ‘grade one’ problem that is expected to rule him out for around four weeks.

Robert Huth is also a major doubt for Leicester’s trip to Manchester City on Saturday after sustaining a foot injury to leave Shakespeare with a defensive headache as Wes Morgan remains out.

Drinkwater has been hampered by fitness issues recently, with a damaged hip flexor taking time to heal and another knock forcing him off during Saturday's win over Watford.
