Leicester City have invited Stafford Rangers striker Josh Gordon for a trial at the club.
The 22-year-old, who has also been watched by Derby County among others this season, is due to train with the Premier League champions next week.
Gordon only joined Stafford from Nantwich Town in October and has scored ten goals in the Northern Premier Division. He began his career with Stoke City and has since had stints at Alloa and Peterborough United.
The relegation-threatened champions could do with some added firepower in their squad, as Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez continue to struggle in front of goal.
