Leicester City FC news: Claude Puel could be sacked at end of the season

Claude Puel could be sacked by Leicester City at the end of the season with the club’s owners planning a summer overhaul of the first-team playing squad.

Puel, the 56-year-old Frenchman, has only been in charge of the Foxes since October, when he replaced Craig Shakespeare with the King Power Stadium club struggling towards the foot of the Premier League table.

He made a solid start, guiding Leicester away from the bottom three and into the top 10, though he has come under increasing pressure on the back of a run of just four wins in 17 league matches.
