Leicester City have been told there is no chance of a late move for Gregoire Defrel.
The Sassuolo striker is on the Foxes' radar and the club's head of recruitment Eduardo Macia personally scouted him back in December.
With Sunderland fighting hard to snap up Leonardo Ulloa, it was thought Leicester may make a late move for Defrel as a replacement.
The 25-year-old has impressed in Italy this season and he has also caught the eye of Roma and Marseille too.
But, according to Foot Mercato, Sassuolo have contacted all interested clubs to tell that Defrel will not be leaving.
