Leicester City 2-4 Chelsea (AET): Fabregas fires Blues past Foxes in EFL Cup

Cesc Fabregas showed manager Antonio Conte what he is capable of as his two goals in extra time were enough to help Chelsea progress past Leicester in the EFL Cup.

The hosts had raced into a two-goal lead thanks to a brace from Shinji Okazaki, as the Japanese forward twice took advantage of poor Chelsea defending to find the back of the net, but the Foxes were pegged back.

First Gary Cahill headed home from a corner, before the visitors levelled thanks to a stunning volley from Spanish full back Cesar Azpilicueta, before out-of-favour midfielder Fabergas did his chances of first team football no harm with two quick goals in extra time.
