Brendan Rodgers insists Leicester will no longer rely so heavily on Jamie Vardy as they aim to secure a second Wembley trophy in four months.
The FA Cup winners face Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield with Vardy expected to lead their attack, five months short of his 35th birthday.
Vardy had to play through the pain barrier for spells last season due to the lack of alternatives but Rodgers believes the £27million signing of Patson Daka from Red Bull Salzburg will ease the burden on his talisman.
