Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has 'not heard anything' about Thursday's Premier League game against Tottenham being postponed despite Covid outbreaks at both clubs

Brendan Rodgers expects Leicester’s clash with Tottenham on Thursday to go-ahead despite Covid-19 outbreaks at both clubs.

The Foxes were without seven players, some due to coronavirus, for the 3-2 defeat at Napoli last Thursday and midfielder Hamza Choudhury was then declared unavailable for Sunday’s 4-0 win over Newcastle.

Of the seven who missed those games, Rodgers believes only Daniel Amartey has a chance of facing Spurs.

But that fixture remains in doubt after a large number of Covid cases meant Spurs were unable to face Rennes in the Conference League on Thursday or Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.
