Brendan Rodgers expects Leicester’s clash with Tottenham on Thursday to go-ahead despite Covid-19 outbreaks at both clubs.
The Foxes were without seven players, some due to coronavirus, for the 3-2 defeat at Napoli last Thursday and midfielder Hamza Choudhury was then declared unavailable for Sunday’s 4-0 win over Newcastle.
Of the seven who missed those games, Rodgers believes only Daniel Amartey has a chance of facing Spurs.
But that fixture remains in doubt after a large number of Covid cases meant Spurs were unable to face Rennes in the Conference League on Thursday or Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.
