‘Leicester are set up PERFECTLY for Champions League football and have great chance of progressing to knock-out stages’, former Foxes striker tells talkSPORT

Former striker Paul Dickov believes Leicester City are set up PERFECTLY to succeed in Europe and can put their ‘surprise package’ status to good use again in the Champions League this season.

The Foxes enjoyed a fairy-tale debut, and two-goal hero Riyad Mahrez a return to form, with a fine 3-0 away win over Club Brugge in the club’s first ever Champions League game on Wednesday.

Claudio Ranieri’s men sealed their place at Europe’s top table by being crowned shock Premier League champions last season thanks to their breath-taking counter-attacking style, although it seems English teams have now wised up to their kick-and-run tactics.
