Leicester City have agreed a £125,000 deal for Chester prospect Sam Hughes.
The 20-year-old has been chased by Swansea City, Crystal Palace, Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves after an impressive season in Chester's defence.
Barnsley had an £80,000 bid rejected for Hughes in January while Lincoln City also made an approach but he is expected to agree a three-year-deal with Leicester City over the coming days.
Leicester have a strong reputation of putting trust in talent from the lower leagues and Hughes is tipped to have a big future having already captained the Vanarama National League side.
