Leicester may have seen their Champions League dreams come to an end on Tuesday night, but defender Danny Simpson believes Craig Shakespeare has proved he's the man for the job.
Shakespeare took over at the helm following the shock sacking of former title-winning boss Claudio Ranieri and instantly oversaw a resurgent uprising in the form of the previous stricken Foxes.
Shakespeare was unable to see Leicester's dream continue, following Champions League quarter-final defeat by Atletico Madrid, but Simpson believes the 53-year-old is the ideal candidate.
