Jamie Vardy scored a second-half equaliser for Leicester as they ended their Premier League title defence by drawing 1-1 against Bournemouth at the King Power.
Craig Shakespeare's side fell behind in the very first minute when Bournemouth's Lys Mousset took advantage of some lapse defending to waltz through and strike on goal.
Mousset's effort was well-saved by Kasper Schmeichel but the ball was parried out to Junior Stanislas who stabbed home the rebound to make it 1-0 to Eddie Howe's men.
However Vardy netted an equaliser six minutes into the second half when he latched onto strike partner Islam Slimani's header across goal to tuck home from close range.
