Chelsea proved they are much more than just a one-man team after they shrugged off the absence of Diego Costa to record a convincing 3-0 victory away at reigning Premier League champion Leicester City.
Costa did not travel with the Blues to the King Power Stadium after falling out with Antonio Conte, although the official line is that the Spanish striker has picked up a back injury.
His absence proved to be inconsequential, however, as Conte's men claimed an impressive win, largely thanks to Costa's compatriot Marcos Alonso.
The former Real Madrid man opened the scoring with a close-range finish after just six minutes before doubling the away side's lead shortly after the break with a deflected effort from the edge of the area.
