Kasper Schmeichel faces six weeks on sidelines after fracturing hand in Leicester City's Champions League draw with Copenhagen

Leicester City goalkeeper is set for a spell on the sidelines after fracturing his hand in their Champions League draw with Copenhagen on Wednesday night.

The Denmark international injured his right hand during the first-half of the goalless draw at the Parken Stadium and is set to see a specialist upon his return to the UK on Thursday.

Schmeichel, 29, has played every minute of Leicester's maiden Champions League campaign, which saw them win their opening three matches against Club Bruges, Porto and Copenhagen.
