Jamie Vardy has withdrawn from the England squad to face Scotland on Saturday with a thigh injury.
The Leicester striker felt a twinge in his quadricep muscle in Tuesday's training session at St George's Park and has left the squad ahead of the weekend clash in Glasgow.
The withdrawal has been described as precautionary with Vardy returning to Leicester to be assessed by club medics.
Vardy will also be unavailable for the friendly against France in Paris on Tuesday night.
