Jamie Vardy is set to escape retrospective action for his clash with Shkodran Mustafi despite Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta claiming the Leicester striker should have been sent off.
Arteta believed Vardy should not have been on the pitch to score Leicester's 84th-minute equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium after the first-half incident in which the tumbling Vardy's boot made contact with Mustafi's head.
Arsenal substitute Eddie Nketiah was sent off in the second half for a challenge on Foxes defender James Justin after referee Chris Kavanagh checked replays on the pitch-side monitor, leading Arteta to suggest Vardy deserved similar punishment.
