Islam Slimani is a transfer target for Tianjin Quinjian as Chinese Super League club prepare £40million offer

Leicester striker Islam Slimani has interest from Chinese club Tianjin Quinjian though an approach to the Foxes has yet to be made.

The club's record signing only joined in the summer for £29million, but it is understood Tianjin are ready to offer £40m for the front-man this month.

Any potential negotiations were put on hold by Slimani's absence at the Africa Cup of Nations, but the 28-year-old is now back in England.
