Leicester striker Islam Slimani has interest from Chinese club Tianjin Quinjian though an approach to the Foxes has yet to be made.
The club's record signing only joined in the summer for £29million, but it is understood Tianjin are ready to offer £40m for the front-man this month.
Any potential negotiations were put on hold by Slimani's absence at the Africa Cup of Nations, but the 28-year-old is now back in England.
Algeria were knocked out in the group stages in Gabon, and Foxes pair Slimani and Riyad Mahrez are set to rejoin training on Thursday.
