In-form Leicester star Harvey Barnes desperate for a place in England's Euro 2020 squad but winger concedes it will be tough to find a way into Gareth Southgate's plans

Harvey Barnes has revealed his desire to seal a place in England's European Championship squad.

The 12-goal winger has one eye on the summer ahead of Leicester's trip to Slavia Prague in the last 32 of the Europa League on Thursday.

Barnes made his England debut against Wales in October and wants to ensure he is in Gareth Southgate's plans for this summer's delayed tournament.

He said: 'As an English player the European Championship has to be a motivation, to make sure you're in that squad at the end of the season.
