Leicester are closing in on completing a £55 million double deal, with Sporting CP midfielder Adrien Silva ‘confirming’ he has accepted a move to the King Power Stadium.
The 27-year-old Portugal international, who was part of the squad which won Euro 2016, has been linked with a transfer to the Foxes, along with Sporting teammate Islam Slimani.
The duo are reported to be available for a combined £55 million fee, and it appears as if one half of the deal has been completed.
Silva, speaking to O Jogo in his homeland, admitted he had accepted the proposal from Claudio Ranieri’s men, with the move to the Premier League set to be confirmed in the coming days.
