Leicester City are prepared to break their transfer record again this summer in a bid to challenge for Champions League places next season, Craig Shakespeare has admitted.
The club are ready to make moves in the market with Ben Gibson and Gylfi Sigurdsson two prime targets that could cost more than the £29.7million paid for Islam Slimani.
Shakespeare was briefed on potential signings during a recruitment meeting on Thursday and offered strong opinion despite still being uncertain about his exact role beyond this campaign.
'You're in those meetings to give your opinion,' he said.
