Former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has released an emotional statement in the wake of his dismissal from the Premier League champions, saying his "dream died" when he was sacked by the Foxes.
The Italian proclaimed he will love the club "for always" and thanked a number of people who helped him during his tenure.

The Foxes confirmed the Italian had parted ways with the club on Thursday evening via a statement on their official website after senior players had reportedly complained about the manager to the owners, according to Paul Vinnell of Sky Sports.
