Claudio Ranieri has made his final visit to Leicester City's training ground this morning after being axed as manager of the reigning Premier League champions.
Ranieri was dismissed following his side's narrow first-leg Champions League defeat by Sevilla, and the 65-year-old has today made his last journey to the club to collect his possessions and say goodbye.
The Italian's farewell comes on the day his biographer, Gabriele Marcotti, revealed the real reason behind his departure to be due to tensions with backroom staff, namely assistant boss Craig Shakespeare.
An issue among his players and loss of the dressing room was originally believed to be the crux of the issue for Ranieri, though Marcotti believes the problems were higher up.
