Brighton 2-2 Leicester: Seagulls pegged back twice by relegation-doomed Foxes in major blow to their European hopes

Brighton were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw with Leicester at the Amex Stadium on Saturday after throwing away two leads.

Joao Pedro opened the scoring with a first-half penalty, before Stephy Mavididi responded for the visitors.

A second penalty by Pedro reinstated the Seagulls grip on the game, only for it to be thrown away when centre back Memeh Caleb Okoli scored his debut goal for Leicester.

Brighton's European hopes took a major setback, as they failed to gain significant ground on the teams ahead who all have games in hand to play.
