Brentford are signing Ben Mee on a free transfer as they will be without Ethan Pinnock for their opening game of the season against Leicester City after the 29-year-old sustained a knee injury.
Mee, who turns 33 in September, will be the oldest player in Brentford's squad and has agreed a two-year deal to become their fourth signing of the summer.
The centre-back would join fellow new arrivals at the Brentford Community Stadium Aaron Hickey, Keane Lewis-Potter and Thomas Strakosha.

The move to Brentford will see Mee end an eleven year association with Burnley, having joined the club from Manchester City in January 2012, after an initial loan spell with the club.
