Borussia Dortmund were left humiliated on the final day of the Bundesliga season after Andrej Kramaric ran riot to score four times for a Hoffenheim side who strolled to victory.
The former Leicester City striker, who flopped during his time at the Foxes, did all the damage at Signal Iduna Park after netting all four of his goals in the first 50 minutes of the game.
Dortmund had little to play for heading into the match as they had already been confirmed as the Bundesliga's distant runners-up behind Bayern Munich.
But the defeat would still leave a sour taste in the mouth of manager Lucien Favre who selected a strong side including Erling Haaland and Julian Brandt, while England international Jadon Sancho came off the bench at half-time.
