The wait on free agent inside linebacker Zach Brown continues. When the free agency market officially opened on March 9th, Brown was the second best linebacker on the market, and one of the more coveted free agents regardless of position. But more than two weeks later, he remains unsigned.
The belief is that Brown — and/or his agent — have been asking for more money than teams are willing to pay. Which is a belief that may have been proven to be true when Brown fired his agent last week, and hired new representation.
This news followed Brown’s visit to Oakland, when he left the team’s facilities without a contract.
