OAKLAND - Amari Cooper did Sunday what the Oakland Raiders drafted him to do.
Cooper became the first Oakland receiver in 11 seasons to have a 1,000-yard receiving season since Randy Moss did it in 2005. Cooper, out of Alabama Crimson Tide, was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2015 draft.
Cooper has two touchdown catches in the game, the second of which was 25-yarder that put the Raiders up 19-17 on the Green Bay Packers in the third quarter. It snapped a five-game touchdown drought for Cooper.
Cooper became the first Oakland rookie to have a 1,000-yard season and is the fourth NFL player to have a 1,000-yard receiving season at the age of 21 or younger.
