Charles Woodson wants to play on Sunday and that’s beginning to look like more of a possibility.
Woodson was suited up at Thursday’s practice and participated in individual drills. The team was not wearing pads, but he donned the jersey, pants and helmet like the rest of his teammates.
Woodson stepped back during team drills and watched the plays from behind as Taylor Mays and Larry Asante worked in as the first-team safeties.
But Woodson’s progression from sitting out Wednesday’s practice to participating in a limited capacity indicates some progression.
Coach Jack Del Rio already said Wednesday that Woodson is making a push to let him play.
