ALAMEDA — Marshawn Lynch blasted his speakers in the Raiders locker room Monday to help out any teammates who didn’t want to talk. The Raiders stand only a week out from regular season football, a Week 1 Monday night bout with one of the Super Bowl favorites, yet the main question for players Monday had little to do with the start of a new season under a new head coach.
Khalil Mack, of course, remained the primary topic of discussion in Alameda even as he practiced with the Bears in Chicago. A common refrain echoed among players who did talk – Bruce Irvin declined to speak specifically about Mack – and they expressed shock that their team traded its best player but praise for a generational talent getting his payday.
