The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week” program promotes high school football, giving high school coaches and teams the recognition that they deserve.
Each recipient will be awarded a $1,000 donation to the school’s football program from The Oakland Raiders and the NFL Foundation.
Week 5
William Edwards, from Washington High School in Fremont, was named The Oakland Raiders High School “Coach of the Week”. The Washington Huskies pulled out the win in a high scoring affair against rival Irvington High. With a final score of 54-44, offense wasn’t lacking as touchdowns were being scored one after another.
