Let’s be frank, Clelin Ferrell will not be remembered kindly in Las Vegas Raiders history.
And that’s nothing personal against Ferrell, who always handled himself professionally. But it’s the reality.
The problem was Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock overdrafted the defensive end. Ferrell was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2019 draft. He was considered a reach at the time and the Clemson product never made much of an impact in four seasons with the Raiders before leaving as a free agent to the San Francisco 49ers in 2023 after not being given his fifth-year option.
