With the impending possibility that the Oakland Coliseum won’t let Raiders to stick around longer than necessary, it’s likely Mark Davis is searching for contingency plans.
The obvious option is Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the 49ers’ home but built to house two teams. Given the connections between Levi’s and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who presumably helped the Las Vegas relocation go-ahead happen, that seems a real prospect.
It’s true that late Raiders owner Al Davis decided against signing up with the 49ers to construct Levi’s. But that doesn’t necessitate owner Mark Davis staying away.
