An old-time Raiders great reacted angrily after hearing Amari Cooper say he’s thriving in Dallas mostly because he wasn’t happy in Oakland, and wasn’t being used properly in Jon Gruden’s offense.
In between calling Cooper a few deragatory names during a Las Vegas radio interview Sunday, 69-year-old Phil Villapiano said the Cowboys wide receiver is lucky his nasty, intimidating linebacker days are over.
“That’s a punk talking,” a worked-up Villapiano said about Cooper on CBS Sports Radio 1140’s “Silver and Black Today” show. “That is a little sissy.
“If I was still playing and we were playing Dallas next year, that guy would have a problem coming over the middle.
