ALAMEDA — C.J. Anderson’s mom finally doesn’t have to root against her son. A diehard Raider fan, Neva Craig found herself cheering for the Raiders at times even when Anderson played for the Broncos against her hometown team.
Now Anderson, a product of Bethel High School in nearby Vallejo, wears silver and black after signing with the Raiders on Tuesday. Craig doesn’t have to wear her son’s orange jersey under a Raiders jacket to games anymore.
“She’s happy,” Anderson said after a hearty laugh Wednesday in front of his new locker. “We’re all happy. Good decision. Good organization.
