The Oakland Raiders will have an interesting position battle at running back during training camp, and one man will more than likely not make the roster. The Raiders currently have five backs that could make the team.
The Raiders starting back for 2019 will be rookie Josh Jacobs, so there is no question that he will make the team. Jalen Richard was a big part of the Raiders offense last season as a receiving back, and we can expect the same in 2019. Doug Martin performed well last season when Marshawn Lynch went down, rushing for over 700 yards, and considering he just got a new contract from the Raiders, it would be surprising to see him get cut.
