Vic Beasley has been part of the Las Vegas Raiders’ program for a week and it doesn’t sound like the team is close to promoting him to the 53-man roster from the practice squad just yet.
When Raiders coach Jon Gruden was asked on Wednesday how he felt about Beasley, he didn’t have much to say. Gruden said he wants to see Beasley more and wants to make sure he is ready to before playing him.
“He’s a nice guy. We haven’t really met each other, honestly. He’s only been in here for a few days and we had a quick flight to Atlanta last week, so his first impression is he looks the part,” Gruden said.
