Vikings’ Adrian Peterson shows he’s still difference-maker

Remember No. 28 for the Vikings? The man the 49ers held to 31 yards rushing in the season opener?

Well, that man has turned back into Adrian Peterson. He had 203 yards rushing Sunday in Minnesota’s 30-14 win over the Raiders, his fifth 100-plus yard game of the season. He leads the league in rushing. And, after missing almost the entire 2014 season when he was indicted on child-endangerment charges and put on the commissioner’s exempt list, Peterson is starting to feel like his old self.

“Feeling more agile, more explosive, quicker,” Peterson said. “Just my whole vibe when I’m out there and I get into a rhythm.
