Once made a highly priced safety by the Oakland Raiders as a former draft pick of the late, great, Al Davis, Tyvon Branch looked like he was destined for a long and successful career with the team before injuries began to doom Branch. Stints on the injured reserve in 2013 and in 2014 keeping the safety from reaching his potential as well as his pricetag after signing that big deal with the Raiders.
Because of those injuries and the lack of production that came with it, general manager Reggie McKenzie decided to cut Branch in the 2015 offseason.
