ALAMEDA — The Raiders signed third-round pick Eddie Vanderdoes on Wednesday, giving them seven members of their nine-man draft class under contract.
Vanderdoes, a 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive tackle out of UCLA, was forced to miss organized team activities and mini-camp with the Raiders due to his academic schedule, but will join the team for full-squad workouts when training camp begins later this month.
First-round cornerback Gareon Conley and second-round safety Obi Melifonwu are the only two Raiders’ draft picks who had yet to be signed.
Vanderdoes was the No. 88 overall pick in the draft after an up and down four-year career at UCLA.
