For Derek Carr the 2018 season was a case of good news and bad news. Let’s start with the good. Statistically, he finished the season setting career highs in completion percentage (68.9) and passing yards (4049).
The bad news is the offense averaged a league low 18 points per game and he threw only 19 touchdowns; the fewest of his career. Carr was sacked 51 times this season and his yards per completion (10.6) the lowest since his rookie season.
The fan base seems to be divided on their opinion of Carr. Some in Raider Nation believe he is the franchise QB while others believe the Raiders would be better off moving on from Carr.
