Tony Bergstrom makes first start since 2012

Tony Bergstrom, the first ever draft pick of Raiders’ general manager Reggie McKenzie, made his first start since 2012 (and the second of his career) and his initial reaction is that he held up fairly well in place of center Rodney Hudson, who sat with a sprained right ankle.

“Coming out, you always feel good about it,” Bergstrom said. “I’ll spend the next 24 hours in my head going through the worst of everything. It’s never as bad, it’s never as good as you think.”

Carr complimented the way Bergstrom stepped in.

“I thought he did a good job,” Carr said.
