Up until the legendary Al Davis selected JaMarcus Russell with the first pick of the NFL Draft in 2007, the biggest “bust” in the antiquity of the Oakland Raiders had been quarterback Todd Marinovich. Now it seems that Marinovich is coming back to the sport (obviously though, not the NFL) after Mike Florio of NBC’s Pro Football Talk shared a story earlier today on the troubled former player.
After having such a troubled life outside of the gridiron, before, during and after his career, a heartwarming comeback story will do Marinovich some good as one of his last arrests was well-documented by TMZ.
